Hartford Fiber Circle – Branding & Social Graphics
Volunteer Design | Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop

Hartford Fiber Circle is a community group that meets biweekly to knit, crochet, embroider, sew, and connect through shared creativity. As both a member and volunteer designer, I took on the opportunity to refresh the group’s visual identity and manage all ongoing graphics.

I redesigned the group’s logo and established a consistent visual language for social media and event promotion — one that reflects the welcoming, creative, and handmade nature of the community. This included selecting fonts, creating a color palette, and developing templates for meet-up announcements, reminders, and special events.

The graphics are shared on platforms like Instagram and Heylo to keep members informed and engaged. I continue to create new materials as needed, including assets for seasonal events and one-off workshops.

This project blends my love for fiber arts with my passion for design, and has given me a chance to build a small, functional brand system from the ground up — one that’s personal, playful, and rooted in community.
